Between preparing for polo and showjumping events and bringing in the never-ending string of ponies, we are working behind the scenes to make Larapinta Equestrian bigger and better with each event. So far this year we have installed a 6-horse walker (a proven blessing with all this rain!) and a 90X60m outdoor arena.
As some of you may know the land on which Larapinta Equestrian is located is an old sand quarry that has required extensive rehabilitation to get it suitable for horses including compacting ground, seeding paddocks, laying turf, and fencing the 450-acre property.
We have also been busy creating yards and more paddocks to grow our capacity for visitors and agistment at the property, we still have a few more things to add to our wish list like maybe a cross-country course utilizing our dams and open profile.
