The Australian Open, Australia’s premier polo tournament, is granted to a state or territory by the Australian Polo Federation and will return to Larapinta in 2024.

Attracting the best polo players and ponies from all corners of  Australia, the tournament’s final is on Sunday 22 September 2024, at the world-class Larapinta Polo and Equestrian Club Centre, just 40 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD.

 

Larapinta is pleased to announce that this year’s Australian Open Polo charity partner is The Six Hour Project.

One Australian dies every six hours from melanoma and the Six Hour Project is on a mission to change this devastating statistic. With your selfless support, vital melanoma research occurs at Mater Research, having a national and international impact. Funds are used to support dedicated teams of researchers at Mater Research, who are working on life-saving research into the causes, prevention and treatment of melanoma and other cancers.

Queensland has long had the highest incidence of Melanoma per capita, worldwide and with highly committed teams and with the support of people like you, improving research outcomes will benefit a greater number of people in Queensland and Australia. Your ticket purchase to the Australian Open will automatically contribute to this vital charity.

Corporate Marquees

We are pleased to release for sale 10 Corporate Marquees located on the high side of the main field, with elevated views. This year we
leave it to you to create a bespoke experience to entertain your clients in a private and personal environment.
All marquees will be 6x6m and will be able to accommodate 30 people each. For a capacity greater than 30, a number of marquees can
be joined together.

Walk between the two polo fields, browse the polo market and buy your lunch from the food trucks and public bar (no BYO alcohol).

Join us for a culinary journey through the Mediterranean, inside The Diamond VIP Marquee.

Premium wines, signature cocktails, beautiful styling and visits from polo players will create an exciting atmosphere, as The Australian Open Polo Finals thunder past on the lush field below.

Car Boot Picnic Spaces are 4m wide (field frontage) 6m deep, allowing space for seating or a small pop up marquee in front and your vehicle behind

Important Information
  • GA tickets are required for all guests (can be purchased at any time)
    One vehicle is permitted per space – additional parking is available at the event in the public car park.
  • Maximum of 10 guests per car boot space (please book multiple car boot spaces for larger groups and note if multiple bookings are to be adjoining)
  • Car boots allocated at time of booking with details confirmed closer to event date.
