The Australian Open is the preeminent polo tournament in Australia.

Attracting the best polo players and ponies from across Australia, the tournament culminates on Sunday 11 September 2022, at the world-class Larapinta Equestrian Centre, just 40 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD.

The Australia Open event surrounds the perimeter of the main field, with commentary, entertainment and a ticket or package to suit everyone.

Individual tickets $25

Enjoy your day at the polo by packing your own picnic rug or chair.

Walk between the two polo fields, browse the polo market and buy your lunch from the food trucks and public bar (no BYO alcohol).

Individual tickets $90, 11:30am – 4:30pm

Guests will be greeted with a Chandon Spritz on arrival.

Rubbing shoulders with the polo players, enjoy your day in a private marquee overlooking the polo action, with live entertainment in this very social marquee.

  • A private bar will be operating (eftpos faciltiies) within your marquee and food is available for purchase at the event
  • Live entertainment within your marquee

*The Chandon Garden Party Marquee opens to all guests at the event from 4.30pm, hosting the on-site after party following the official presentations, until 7.00pm.


Each car boot picnic space is $100

Pull up in your your reserved Car Boot Picnic Space along the edge of the field.

Bring your own lunch, visit the food trucks or order a delcious picnic to collect on the day.

  • Car Boot Picnic Spaces are 4m wide (field frontage) 6m deep, allowing space for seating or a small pop up marquee in front and your vehicle behind
  • GA tickets are required for all guests (can be purchased at any time)
    One vehicle is permitted per space – additional parking is available at the event in the public car park.
  • Maximum of 10 guests per car boot space (please book multiple car boot spaces for larger groups and note if multiple bookings are to be adjoining)
  • Car boots allocated at time of booking (number 1-50)
  • Once booked you will receive a confirmation email with your car boot space and the ability to add catering and furniture.

The SENTIO Marquee is ideal for small corporate groups (or friends who enjoy the finer things!) to enjoy an exceptional day at Australia’s premier polo event.

Enjoy your premium food and beverage package with flowing French Champagne, spirits and freshly shucked oysters.

    • Groups of six or more can request a reserved table.

Small picnic marquees provide a relaxed and comfortable day out for up to 30 guests. Includes food and beverage package.

10.30 am Car Boot Picnic bookings arrive and in position
11.30 am Marquee Hospitality Commences
12.00 pm Children’s Dash
2.15 pm The Main Dash (for men and women)
2.30 pm Stomping of the divots (best dressed guests judged on field, during this much loved feature)
2.45 pm The Official Welcome to The Australian Open Final

  • National Anthem
  • Presentation of finalists
  • Australian Open Final commences
4.00 pm Entertainment at conclusion of the Australian Open Final

Corporate Marquee hospitality concludes

Chandon Garden Party Marquee opens to all guests (cash bar)
